Student Success Academy helps high school students succeed by connecting them with college student mentors. In this 3-week engagement in partnership with Velocis, interaction design specification is delivered to engineering to enhance the existing service to support scaling up capacity.

All design engagements begin with the questions, “Who is the user and what user-centric problem are we trying to solve?” Founders E.J. Carrion and Michael Benko deeply understood the students, parents, and counselors they serve and we were able to rapidly contextualize their feature concepts into design narratives.

Detailed interaction design and behavior specification was delivered along with conceptual realizations of a visual style.
